Mark & Rob's Fundraising Mountain Climb 2008
That’s right folks … starting on the 1st June and in the name of charity,
we’re going to climb the three highest mountains on the mainland (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon).
This is known as ‘The Three Peaks Challenge’ and normally completed over a 24 hour period.
However, as neither of us have any experience of this sort of thing and both of us get out of breath climbing the stairs … we thought we’d take a week and try to stay alive (call us old fashioned).
In all seriousness, this is a tough challenge for us both and we are climbing to raise funds for both Motor Neurone Disease and to support a local youth football team (Tilehurst Panthers).
If you could please find it in your hearts to sponsor us something, even if just a couple of pound, then that would be greatly appreciated and it will no doubt assist us to push on in our moments of peril.
It may even be an idea to sponsor us per peak … know what we mean?
