Development Centre Information

We run a Development Centre which is completely free to all 5 to 9 year old girls and is being run in conjunction with Reading FC.

We were lucky enough to win a grant to help with grass roots football and getting new teams created at the younger age groups and could think of no better way of investing the money than in our Development Centre, which is now into its third year!!
With some club sponsorship and fund raising we're really hoping that this becomes sustainable and is something we can provide for free to the community year on year.

Our girls train on astro turf on Ranikhet School's all weather pitch (Saturday 9:20 - 10:30am) so any suitable trainers will suffice.
We also ask that all players wear shin pads and bring a drink with them, but any sort of sports clothing is suitable ... doesn't have to be a football kit.
There are no toilet facilities on site and dogs are not permitted - sorry.

The Development Centre runs all year round including summer holiday and half term breaks, with the exception of Christmas time and Easter weekend.

As the girls progress we create teams at (under 8 and under 9) and join in to football festival matches ran by our local Berkshire County Girls Football League.

All of our regular players within the Development Center will also be issues with a club rain jacket.

To join please follow the instructions HERE
